Does it still count as “nesting” if the baby is four and a half months old?
Please to not look too closely at all the points that don’t line up. Especially not the center post (eek).
As with most of my projects, it turned out larger than I expected; the finished size is 30″ square. I don’t have fabric for the backing, so further progress is on hold until I can get out and get some. In the mean time, I’m working on creative things I can do with the mountain of leftover fabric…
Cathy,
That looks great! The colors are wonderful and the blocks go together so well. Some of us wonder how you have the time for this sort of thing…
The Young Master’s older cousin and I had a talk about him last night. The cousin wondered if he would like football or basketball or baseball. We thought that since the dad and the uncle liked baseball, it might be the Young Master’s game. We did realize that some preliminary skills were needed first–walking and running. “And even standing,” said the cousin.
That is REALLY pretty! The colors are so nice! I, too, am impressed that you had time to put it together, especially while working full time in addition to your tasks with the little guy.
I second the previous comments. Plus, I think it is RUDE to look for Things That Don’t Line Up. I’m sure that if Ganga had had any idea of what quilting was all about, she would agree! It is certainly something we Crackpots would never do.
