This is great, Nancy! I’m in the throes of gift bags for the Hungarians on my list – 6 of them. So far I have made 4. The fact that they are all the same makes it easier, But I keep having not quite enough of a fabric I really like, so I have to make modifications, like having the lining taller than the outside fabric so that it folds down and adds to the length of the outside. I have also tried making one bag with a drawstring top, which uses less fabric than a ribbon-tied bag. And if you fold down the lining fabric to show it off and make the casing for the draw string, you need even less of the outer fabric. (-:
